Xafinity Paymaster has provided Pensions Administration services since our establishment in 1836 paying pensions to the Armed Forces.

We first began providing full Pensions Administration services, for clients other than the Armed Forces and NHS, in the 1970's.

Xafinity Paymaster was subsequently acquired in 1997 by Hogg Robinson and formed the major part of Hogg Robinson’s pensions business.

In 2005, Duke Street Capital purchased the pensions business of Hogg Robinson and established a new company (Xafinity) and brands specialising in Pensions Administration (Xafinity Paymaster), Software (Xafinity Claybrook) and Consulting (Xafinity Consulting).

Today, Xafinity Paymaster is one of the largest pension administration providers, administering over 2 million members on behalf of nearly 1,000 schemes.

2010 - Xafinity Group purchased by Advent International (January)

2009 - Xafinity Paymaster is awarded 'Best Third Party Administrator of the Year' at the FT's Pension and Investment Provider Awards (PIPA)

2008 - Xafinity Paymaster expands its range of services to include complaints management and skills resourcing (through Hazell Carr).  Expands its UK operations to include new sites at Reading, Cardiff and Stirling.

2007 - Xafinity Paymaster wins an award at the National Training Awards for its staff training programme.  Stafford Office is opened.

2006 - Major investment in Compendia Web based administration software and Remedy Case Management, providing on-line graphical management information to Clients.

2005 - Major change project undertaken for pensions simplification.

2003 - Xafinity Paymaster is the first TPA to achieve certification under the new quality standard BSEN ISO 9001:2000.

2001 - Xafinity Paymaster is the first TPA to publish SAS 480 Report on Business Controls.

1995 - Major upgrade to Pensions Administration software for all Schemes.

1995 - Take on of the Treasury Unit administering the Civil Service Pension Scheme.

1993 - All pension services accredited under BS EN.

1990 - First major private sector DB contract implemented.

1948 - Began paying NHS pensions.
