Financial and Commercial Director

John graduated from the London School of Economics with an honours degree in economics and went on to qualify as a Cost and Management Accountant.

His early career was spent at what are now Rexam and Diageo. In 1987, John moved into the IT sector and became Finance Director of a UK division of Raytheon Inc.

In 1995, John joined EDS as Chief Accountant and subsequently became Financial Controller of the EMEA BPO division. Whilst at EDS John contributed to the winning of a series of major outsourcing contracts.

In 2002, John was appointed Finance Director of Atos Origin and KPMG Consulting. Following the acquisition of Schlumberger Sema in 2004, John became Commercial Director focusing on new business opportunities.

During his career at Atos Origin, John was appointed Chair of the Trustees of the Pension Scheme where he gained extensive experience in pensions administration.

In 2006, John joined Xafinity Paymaster as Commercial Director responsible for all commercial and sales activities across the business, and in 2008 assumed his current role as Finance Director.

John brings a broad combination of a commercial, financial, operational, and pensions experience to the Xafinity Paymaster management team.
