Giles joined HR Trustees Limited in June 2010 and has more than 24 yrs experience in the Pensions industry. He has worked for Consultancies, an Insurance Company and an Asset Manager.
Before moving into asset management, Giles’ experience included administration, documentation, technical training and pension’s consultancy.
Whilst working in the asset management industry Giles has had responsibility for a wide range of investment mandates for both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes including Liability Driven Investment solutions and benchmarks including multiple managers.
He was also a member of a small team that had responsibility for designing and implementing modular trustee training and this developed into an award winning offering. Giles also had responsibility for the companies Defined Contribution administration service that was provided by a third party company.
Companies that Giles has worked with in the past include BP, Peugeot, Nissan, UTC, Hewlett Packard, Northern Rock, AT&T, Lafarge and Johnson Matthey.
Giles brings an extensive knowledge of investments and the implementation of strategy to the team.
