Director
Claire is a qualified Solicitor, having graduated from Birmingham University before attending Guildford College of Law. She spent several years in private practice, before joining HR Trustees in 1992 to specialise in pensions.
Claire has been actively involved in HR Trustees trusteeships from its inception which has given Claire considerable experience of a wide range of pension issues from member issues, IDRP responses, equalisation and scheme amendments, to exit management, funding negotiations, scheme mergers, funding arrangements including contingent assets and Special Purpose Vehicles and clearance applications to the Pensions Regulator.
Claire’s experience has been on both defined contribution and defined benefit schemes, including as chairman of Trustees as well as the director responsible for a number of schemes within HR Trustees’ FAS portfolio. Claire’s current appointments include IMG and ColArt International Holdings Limited. Amongst other appointments, Claire has been involved in the trusteeship of the Wedgwood, SR Technics, Morris Ashby, Wembley and Courts Pension Schemes. Claire also has expertise in managing schemes in a PPF Assessment Period.
Claire is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
