Senior Consultant

Chris joined HR Trustees Limited in 2000 having gained an honours degree in History from the University of Reading.

Chris acts as the Trusteeship Manager for a portfolio of schemes that include ongoing arrangements, schemes in winding up, schemes requiring exit management services and those that qualify for the Pension Protection Fund.  

Recently Chris has gained particular experience with schemes that qualify for the Pension Protection Fund including those with complex entry issues, taking schemes through the assessment process and buying out benefits where there are sufficient monies to provide greater than Pension Protection Fund benefits. He is a member of the Independent Trustee Panel which is consulted on by the Department for Work and Pensions regarding the development of the Financial Assistance Scheme.  

Amongst other appointments, Chris is involved in the trusteeship of the pension schemes of Wedgwood, Panasonic, Nestlé, Swissport, CBS and CB Richard Ellis.  

Chris is an associate of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI).
