Director

Chris joined HR Trustees limited in June 2011.  He has over 25 years of experience in the pensions industry, most of which were spent with his previous employer Aon Hewitt Limited.   

At Aon Hewitt, Chris enjoyed a wide range of senior roles, including client management, scheme wind ups and Scheme Actuary appointments as well as being a Director of Aon Hewitt’s two independent Trustee companies. The schemes ranged in size from small (£10m) to the very largest (in excess of £1bn) and covered Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and hybrid arrangements.  

As a Scheme Actuary he was integral to the actuarial, investment and legal issues for his clients.  

In 2009 he was appointed trustee of a pension scheme and oversaw the resolution of the scheme’s legal documentation (requiring Counsel’s opinion) and the major part of the transition to the PPF.  

Chris is well known in the pension industry, having been a speaker at pension events and has regularly chaired discussions at ACA annual conferences.

He has a honours degree in Mathematics and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
