Alex joined HR Trustees Limited in 2002 and altogether has more than 12 years experience in the Pensions industry having previously worked both for a Consultancy and for an Insurance Company where his clients included the Lattice Group, TK Maxx, Mencap, BP, HSBC, Credit Suisse and NTL.
Alex acts as the Trusteeship Manager for a portfolio of schemes that includes ongoing arrangements, transaction based appointments and schemes in winding up where he has considerable experience of the bulk buy out market. He also sits as a trustee in his own right and acts as Chairman of Trustees on a number of schemes.
In recent times he has gained experience in the fields of employer covenant review, clearance applications to the Pensions Regulator, debt issues arising from the reorganisation and disposal of companies, liability reduction exercises, and the Pensions Protection Fund.
Amongst other appointments, Alex has been involved in the trusteeship of the Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Courts, Hitachi, Matsushita UK (Panasonic), IMG and Wembley Pension Schemes.
He has a degree in law, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Guildford College of Law and is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI).
