Wayne Story - Director and Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Xafinity
Wayne Story joined Equiniti in November 2008 as the UK Managing Director. He was responsible for Operations as well as driving growth through strategic acquisitions that would support Equiniti’s entry into the Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) market. Following a brief and successful period as interim CEO Wayne was appointed the permanent Chief Executive Officer of Equiniti in January 2010. In April 2010, Wayne was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of The Equiniti Group.
His previous role, as the Managing Director of the HR business at Capita Wayne was responsible for achieving outstanding financial results; growing the revenue by over £100m and increasing profitability by triple digit growth during his tenure. Wayne also specialised in developing board level relationships, and leading the sales process for a number of major outsourcing contracts with Public Sector bodies and FTSE100 organisations.
Wayne has developed a fantastic track record throughout his career of growing businesses, having worked in senior roles for a wide range of household brands that include TSB Group, PPP Healthcare, PA Consulting Group and CSG. Wayne is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and holds an MBA.
