Non Executive Director, Xafinity Holdings Limited

Sir Nicholas Montagu has been a non-executive director of Xafinity Holdings Ltd since 2005.   Nick was a career civil servant for 30 years, holding senior posts in Social Security, Transport and the Cabinet Office.   From 1997 to 2004 he was Chairman of the Inland Revenue, leading that Department through the greatest changes in its 200-year history.

Nick’s business activities since retirement have centred on pensions and insurance. 
In addition to his Xafinity post, he is a Director of the Pension Corporation, and Chair of the Norwich Union With-Profits Committee.  He is also a member of PricewaterhouseCooper’s Advisory Panel and of the Council of Queen Mary, University of London, where he will take over as Chair in September.
